Hi All,
Sharing a little about my first level in my first path.
One approach for the four projects in this Level:
My speeches and evaluation projects were stored in my own computer folders.
Records of my progress were done in easy-Speak used by all of my clubs.
I mapped out my projects in a spreadsheet first and planned the timing of these speaking schedules in December 2017 and January 2018.
My overall plan was to complete my first Path by end of June 2018.
At this level one, my approach included a series of speeches about how I coached a new club to charter, with these titles:
Note: The research project was the least understood because it was so different - this challenged me to work on improvements for that theme in Level Two.

One approach for the four projects in this Level:
- Icebreaker - think of this as your ground breaker, the beginning of your journey into Effective Coaching. Here you can introduce yourself as a coach or someone being coached and include your plans for Mastering the fundamentals of Effective Coaching.
- Next speech - continue with your theme in this speech and focus on those elements you are seeking to improve. Schedule your speech ahead of time and share your speech plans with your Evaluator.
- Repeat speech - modify the previous speech and focus on the recommendations provided by your Evaluator. Schedule your speech ahead of time and share your speech outline and previous evaluation with your Evaluator.
- Evaluation project - volunteer as an Evaluator for another speaker and request the Evaluation resource that you will use, from the speaker. Request another Toastmaster to provide feedback on your Evaluation technique.
- Research and present speech - choose a research area that resonates for you - this adds that 'something different' to your level 1 projects.
